The Hardened Steel Extruder Gear Assembly is made of hardened steel and is an internal component of the extruder unit. It consists of a driven gear and an active gear that work together to feed the filament into the hotend. This extruder gear, made from extremely durable materials, is particularly well-suited for printing with resilient technical filaments such as PAHT-CF and PET-CF, providing long-lasting performance. If it becomes necessary to replace it due to wear or clogging from prolonged use, users can simply swap out the extruder gear without having to replace the entire extruder unit.
