Product details
Intensive use of a conventional computer mouse can lead to discomfort such as tingling, pain, and/or restricted blood circulation in the arms and hands. Another symptom is limited neck rotation. As functional as standard computer mice are, they are often too small for the hand, forcing the hand and fingers into an unnatural grip position. Therefore, a group of mechanical engineers, in close collaboration with the Medical Center of Erasmus University in the Netherlands, has redesigned the mouse and invented the ergonomic HandShoe Mouse.
Instead of putting excessive strain on the hand and wrist, your arm glides the optical HandShoe Mouse with minimal effort. Due to its shape, your hand always rests comfortably on the mouse, eliminating skin contact between the hand and the desk. This prevents skin irritations that can occur from excessive friction when using a conventional mouse. Unlike regular computer mice, you also don’t have to constantly lift your fingers to avoid accidentally pressing a button.
The buttons of this ergonomic mouse are arranged according to the natural position of the fingers. A light press is sufficient to activate the buttons. The thumb rest of the HandShoe Mouse allows for a relaxed posture and prevents excessive thumb movements that can be harmful.
The classic connection option: This input device connects to your computer via a USB cable and is powered through it. Just plug it in and start using it – the plug-and-play convenience makes it easy. Dead batteries or interference from obstacles never become an issue with this type of connection. Suitable for hand sizes from 175 mm to 195 mm.
