Atomos AtomX SDI Module

The AtomX SDI Xpansion Module enhances the functionality of the Ninja V or a compatible Atomos device by adding a 12G SDI input and output. With two standard BNC connectors, the SDI module provides the necessary flexibility and meets common video standards. Single-link SDI signals (12G/6G/3G/HD) are automatically configured. Both SDI inputs support up to 4kp60 and can be switched freely. Dual-link connections are supported with 1.5G/3G and 6G. Additionally, the SDI module supports embedded timecode, record trigger commands from leading camera manufacturers, up to 12 channels of embedded audio, and file names for RED/Arri cameras. When a single camera is connected, the second SDI input provides an SDI loop-out with the ability to apply 3DLUTs, 4K-to-HD down conversions, and DCI cropping. During playback, you can review clips, mark subclips, and create playlists for simultaneous output through both SDI connectors at up to 12G 4Kp60. Configure the module directly via the touch screen interface of AtomOS. Through the Xpansion port, the SDI module can be combined with a second module such as the AtomX SYNC to equip the Ninja V or a compatible Atomos device with additional features. Ninja V owners can now benefit from the ability to record RAW over SDI with compatible cameras by using the AtomX SDI module and the paid upgrade.
