Product details
The Asus TUF B360M-Plus Gaming mATX motherboard features a PCIe x16 slot that is connected to the chipset with a full 16 lanes. For expansion cards, the board offers two PCIe x1 slots.
The two M.2 slots, connected via four PCIe 3.0 lanes, support the NVMe protocol and enable a data transfer rate of nearly 4 GB/s when paired with a compatible M.2 SSD. This is about eight times faster than an SSD connected via SATA 6G. Additional drives such as SSDs, HDDs, and optical drives can be connected through six SATA 3.0 ports. Up to 64 GB of RAM with a clock speed of up to 2,666 MHz can be accommodated in four DDR4 DIMM slots.
On the I/O panel, the Asus TUF B360M-Plus Gaming provides two USB 3.1 ports. USB 3.1 ports are twice as fast as traditional USB 3.0 ports, with maximum speeds of 10 Gbit/s. Additional peripherals can be connected via one USB 3.0 and two USB 2.0 slots. The USB 3.0 port is of Type-C, making it particularly slim and reversible.
There is also one DVI and one HDMI port for video output via the processor's integrated graphics unit on the I/O panel. For onboard sound output (Realtek ALC887), the motherboard has three 3.5 mm audio jacks. Internal connections include one COM port, S/PDIF out, power LED, and speaker headers, three fan connectors, as well as two USB 2.0 and one USB 3.0 header.
The black and yellow Asus TUF B360M-Plus Gaming is illuminated by RGB LEDs, showcasing it effectively. Additionally, it features a 4-pin RGB LED header for controlling other RGB LED products via Asus Aura Sync.
