ASUS Rog Strix X570-F Gaming

The Asus ROG Strix X570-F Gaming is a motherboard in ATX format with RGB LED lighting on the I/O panel cover. The lighting can be controlled by the manufacturer's software. Additional RGB LED components can be connected and controlled via two Oboard RGB headers (12V) and two digitally addressable 3-pin RGB headers (5V). Two PCIe 4.0 slots in x16 format are available for graphics cards, which are directly connected to the Ryzen 3000 processor via a total of 16 PCIe 4.0 lanes. Another PCIe x16 slot is connected to the chipset via 4 lanes. In addition, two PCIe-x1 slots are available.

Compared to PCIe 3.0, the data transfer rate per PCIe-4.0 lane is twice as high, so that a NVMe-SSD connected via four PCIe-4.0 lanes can achieve a theoretical speed of up to 7.8 GB/s. Mainboards with the X570 chipset are also suitable for all other AMD CPU series for the AM4 socket.

The motherboard has two M.2 interfaces for fast M.2 SSDs. This interface is particularly recommended for the drive where the operating system or frequently used applications are located, and accelerates the entire PC or productivity applications.

With Aura, Asus has developed an intuitive lighting system that lets you illuminate your components individually in different colours. The synchronization between Asus mainboards, graphics cards and peripheral devices is activated and controlled by mainboards with Aura support.

To protect the PCIe slots, Asus has implemented the Safeslot. It protects the PCIe slots from stress and bending by connecting them to a reinforcing metal using the molding method and then firmly anchoring them to the board with additional solder joints.
