The Alesis Nitro Mesh is a complete 8-piece electronic drum kit focused on next-generation Alesis mesh head drum technology. Mesh heads are the overwhelming preference of drummers when playing electronic kits because of their natural feel and extremely quiet response. The Alesis Nitro Mesh features an 8-inch dual-zone mesh snare drum and three 8-inch mesh toms. It contains everything else you need to create a complete drum kit, including three 10-inch cymbals, a specially designed Alesis hi-hat pedal and kick pedal, and a durable 4-post aluminum rack.

The Nitro module is full of sounds and surprises. The backlit LCD screen makes navigation a breeze. Drum and cymbal buttons are arranged to resemble the layout of a traditional kit, making it easy to assign sounds and create kits quickly. The Nitro module comes with 40 classic and modern ready-to-play kits. You can enhance any existing kit or create your own with the 385 superior drum, cymbal, and percussion sounds included in the Nitro module.

You will also find valuable extras in the Nitro module. Integrated learning includes 60 music tracks to play along with and an integrated metronome to improve your skills. There's even an advanced sequencer and performance recorder to expand your potential for making music. In addition to a USB-MIDI connection for computers and mobile devices, the Nitro module features several MIDI in and out jacks that let you connect your favorite drum machine, sound module, or other audio devices with MIDI equipment. There's a headphone jack for private practice and stereo outputs for connecting to a PA system, amplifier, or recording console. The stereo aux input lets you jam to your favorite tracks on your CD or MP3 player.
