The black case body made of 0.5 mm thick steel presents itself largely conventionally with plenty of surface area, interrupted by some air intake and exhaust vents to allow the power supply and other components to "breathe." In contrast, the black front view features a leather coating and gently flowing lines. The Aerocool designers have excellently integrated the I/O panel into the front section of the Cs-101 while adding tasteful accents. In addition to the I/O panel, which includes two USB 3.0 ports, one audio in/out, and a brightly outlined power button (with a play symbol), the designers have incorporated a vertical slot for an optical drive into the design. The also black interior is practically designed and offers space for a vertically mounted motherboard with Mini-ITX or even Micro-ATX size. Accordingly, there are four openings for expansion cards at the back. The tower accommodates a graphics card up to 240 mm long and a top-blower CPU cooler up to 80 mm high. An 80 mm fan is installed in the top of the tower and can be supplemented by an 80 mm fan at the bottom. If the case is placed horizontally, these fans are located on the left (optional) and right (pre-installed). An SFX power supply can be mounted at the front right, with the power cable routed from the back to the front, blowing heat upwards. Also found in the front area is a tray for a 5.25-inch bay, although this can alternatively accommodate a 3.5-inch drive or a 2.5-inch SSD. Additionally, there are dedicated slots for each of the mentioned drives in the black Aerocool Cs-101.
