Product details
F-ATI and F-ARI are RCCBs with an automatic non-disruptive testing function. RCCBs should be tested at least every six months, depending on the application. This ensures that the contacts function properly and that the device trips in the event of a fault current to ground. Regular testing of the RCCBs affects the uninterrupted operation of the downstream circuits and involves significant labor. With the use of F-ATI and F-ARI, this labor is eliminated. These devices automatically perform regular tests without interrupting the system. Therefore, the involvement of maintenance personnel can be minimized.
In addition to the automatic tests, the F-ARI series is equipped with an automatic reset unit to close the RCCB after it has tripped. This is specifically designed for areas accessible only to electrically trained personnel or electrical specialists. The reset occurs based on an insulation test to ensure that it is not a permanent fault.
Furthermore, the results of all circuits are collected via the ARBus interface.
