The Red Army was reclaiming territory it had lost much earlier after Germany launched Operation Barbarossa, and it was now crossing its prewar borders into Eastern Europe. On the Western Front, the British and Americans were advancing up through Italy and had crossed France after the D-Day landings. German tanks were heavily involved in these fighting withdrawals and counterattacks, and Dragon has drawn together some of its classic 1/35 scale kits to commemorate that late-1944 period of WWII. These tanks were fighting on the frontlines on either the Eastern or Western Front, or both. This collection features classic Dragon tanks that have been hard to get for some time. They are the perfect place to start for modelers wishing to represent a scene from the end of 1944, such as the Battle of the Bulge, representing Germany's final major offensive of the war.
