Turn off "CTRL for HDMI" for a clean HDMI feed
Comes pre-configured for a "CTRL for HDMI" option that allows certain sony TVs to operate the menu directly, and took me ages to realise this obscure option was what I needed to turn off to get a clean HDMI feed.
Once that's done, it's a great little camera for its price point. and runs for at least a couple of hours comfortably without recharging.
