High quality no nonsense Blu Ray player

This is a great player with decent picture quality, quiet operation and high quality optical drive. One of my blu ray discs refused to play in my old player, but played without a problem in this one. The remote control has a few handy playback and memory functions which are not often found on other players. E.g. "jump backward" to quickly rewind a few seconds backward if you missed a scene. IR sender of the RC is not very powerful, so you need to point it directly to the player to make it work, but this is minor and can be easily fixed by using a universal remote (which I already have). The only strange thing I found with this player is that there is apparently no way to see "remaining time" or "total length" during movie playback. The status display only shows "elapsed time", and so far I couldn't find a way to toggle it.
Very good player overall.
