The tripod is protected against water, dirt, and dust (up to the top edge of the cold protection grips). Additionally, it features a newly designed locking mechanism for comfortable operation and a leveling bubble for precise alignment. The tripod legs are made from 10 layers of carbon, resulting in reduced weight, increased stability, and low vibration properties.

Another special feature of this tripod is that one leg can be removed and used as a monopod. The center column consists of two parts of different lengths. The short piece can be used with the tripod for low-angle shots. With the long piece of the center column, the monopod can be extended to a height of 163 cm.

The legs can be tilted upwards by 180° over 3 fixed locking positions, allowing the tripod to fold down to just 49 cm in height. Each leg consists of 4 sections with 3 sealed ring locks. Rubber feet and metal spikes ensure that the tripod stands securely on any surface.

A stabilization hook on the center column is part of the Sirui standard, along with the cold protection grips and the transport bag. The bag strap can also be used as a tripod strap.
