Simple and functional, reduced to the bare essentials

Sound and price/performance TOP
After 30 (!) years, I had to replace my then high-end Sony unit and decided on this Yamaha. Together with my Hamann Kardon amplifier, the sound is SUPER resolved, especially with more complex pieces. The tray seems a bit unstable, also the display information is a bit poor - positively put REDUCED. Because the Sony had more to offer here, only 4 stars.

Shapely CD Player
I am very satisfied with this product. With the USB/I-Pod connection, you have to make sure that only the latest products from Apple are compatible. I had to try different USB sticks until one worked. However, this problem is also mentioned in the manufacturer's detailed description in the user manual.
