Teufel Ultima 40 Surround Power Edition
Set
The set runs on a Denon AVR-S950H. This AV receiver has for my needs more than enough power for continuous operation, could be for one or the other evt. at the lower limit. For the rental apartment reichts loose to get in trouble with the neighbor. The subwoofer is active, so with integrated amplifier. First I tested without subwoofer and was already thrilled by the sound dynamics of the floorstanding speakers. But especially for cinema movies it may already tolerate the Subi. The center speaker for voice reproduction is just perfect.
The countless Youtube test reports were decisive for the purchase, most of which justifiably gave the Teufel floorstanding speakers very good marks. However, the appearance was just as decisive for the choice of the Ultima 40 Power Set.
The front grilles only have thin bars underneath the fabric. When carrying the heavy speakers around, one or the other rod can break.
Important: there should be enough space for the main speakers so that they can be placed 30-50cm away from the wall. That makes a big difference to the sound.
I first tested the speakers in the living room. The Teufel Cinebar Lux Surround Ambition can keep up visually, but in terms of sound it is clearly inferior to the Ultima 40.
Don't forget, the Ultima 40 are quite big and especially deep! They have quite a presence in a small living room. (see photos)
Conclusion: I would buy the Ultima 40 again.

With the onkyo amplifier kare and rich sounds! Simply perfect.
My first 5.1, I bought it together with VSX-534D, 30m Oelbach cables (plus SUB) and banana connectors. This comes completely without any cables at all.
So far works without any issue. Central speaker has holes to hang it on the wall.
