Samsung QE55QN90D

So I ordered a new TV after a good 12 years and I'm delighted.
I'm a 0815 user and don't know all the details. I've read up on tests from some YouTubers and other channels and have to say it's really cool :-D uhhuere mega giga freud.
I would also like to say a big thank you to the Digitec team and the logistics company PLANZER. Ordered yesterday (25.11) and already on my doorstep today. I don't know how you guys rock it, but it's an absolute luxury to offer such a service. Thank you and have a great Christmas when the time comes.

The TV is the replacement for an almost 13 year old Samsung ue55d7000. The speakers, picture and reception were slowly becoming less crisp. This should be considered in relation to the new one.
According to the list of pros and cons, the product should be viewed in several ways:
- Monitor with sound
It is a great monitor in 65" with beautiful sharpness, colour space, contrasts, response times and sound.
It's really relaxing to watch a film.
- Hardware with interfaces
The hardware integrates perfectly into the network and communicates very well with a Samsung HT-J7500W 5.1.
Only one remote control is required for activation. Switch, PS4 and the HT are found automatically and can be activated via input channel selection.
- SmartTV - Computer
The menu selection takes some getting used to, but responds quickly. In terms of operation, it is faster than the TV from before, compared to a Raspberry pi 4 8gb with Librelec / Kodi. But the menu navigation is much better there.
- Software
I don't want to say that it's a shot in the arm, but it's neither intuitive nor clear. Everything that could be done technically has simply been cobbled in here....
My wife, my son and I quickly found out how we can watch with Samsung Plus TV. But until we found the function for finding the channels via a normal cable connection... um...
Ridiculously complicated.
- Input device
Here we are at the point where I am spoilt by old remote controls. I want a remote control on a TV with the numbers from 0-9... Samsung... even with you. What's this rubbish... Over 100 channels and no intuitive way to enter the numbers... Menu nonsense... such a ... I'm looking for a compatible universal remote control.
- The stand was already broken when I took it out of the bag. When we came to assemble it, the other two lugs also broke off. The screws are holding. I recommend wall mounting... I trust bricks more than the plastic base.

After 20 years of Panasonic (2 sets, both still in use), this time I got a 65-inch Samsung TV.
So far I'm completely satisfied!

TV was deposited 2 metres from the road in front of the garden gate. Clear information on address label (delivery via church driveway, car park.) Delivery usually to front door.

I have replaced my functioning, few-year-old Metzt Fineo 43" with the Samsung QE43QN90D because the CEC & ARC on the Metz Fineo works more badly than well and keeps dropping out. Samsung is known for the fact that these two features CEC & ARC work perfectly, which is also the case with the QE43QN90D, as expected. However, I have not yet managed to set an optimum picture in terms of brightness, contrast, colour etc.. No matter which additional settings I use (local dimming, contrast enhancement, colour tone, shadow detail, colour optimisation, etc.), I can't get a picture as beautiful as the Metz Fineo or the two other Samsung TVs in my home. The picture doesn't look natural, it always looks artificial. The picture is either too dark or overloaded with contrast and colour, depending on the channel set. I'm not used to that. In my opinion, too many automatic setting features (see above in brackets) interfere with the picture, not all of which can be deactivated.
The sound quality is not very satisfactory without the soundbar, the sound is thin and tinny.
