Audiophile product with excellent value for money.
I use it as an external DAC feeding an ONKYO amp (volume 0 on line input) and as a headphone amp (Beyerdynamic T90, 250 Ohms and GRADO RS1e, 32 Ohms). Excellent results with High Res music, supports DSD and MQA.

Super performance at a reasonable price
Does what it is supposed to. Tested tracks via USB with all sampling rates between 44.1 and 384 Ks/s; I did not notice any clicks when switching. DSD and MQA were not tested. The difference between the different filters is rather subtle (as to be expected). A tiny little device with amazing performance at this price. Probably perfectionists could improve the sound by nuances with a better external power supply. For headphone fans, an additional, high-quality headphone amplifier is worthwhile at best to exploit the full sound quality of the device.

I have the same one as in the picture. A hell of a DAC
The worst DAC, never again, the numbers on the little screen turn yellow over time. It loses connection several times a day, and lately it's getting worse and worse 1 to 2 or even 3 times an hour. And the drivers for Windows don't work. I'll take another brand to try, but the Pre-Box never again. I'm not even going to send it in for warranty because I don't think it's going to piss me off even more. I definitely don't recommend this DAC.
