...High End at a low price....
...completely thrilled...high end at a low price....you can't get much better in Blueray quality....okay admittedly....a tad more brilliant is the big brother BDP-LX 88 or an Oppo Blueray player....but for so much more money the picture is not painfully better...Well done Pioneer and thank you Digitec for the always uncomplicated deliveries.

Pioneer one was good
As with the predecessor, the drive suddenly fails.
The unit can neither be switched on nor off.
If there is a disc in the unit, you can't get it out again.
So for me, never again PioneerPioneer
It is compatible with a server, which is excellent for film distribution.

Until 4K from disc is really established, this is a top device. If you want to play music in analogue, the big brother is an even better, but also more expensive alternative.
Why this BD player ? At a time when a BD can also be played on a device that costs only a fraction ? Moreover, 4K devices and UHD discs will soon be introduced - still want to buy one ?

- Very quiet (in contrast to the rickety cheap devices)
- Very good and perfect workmanship (incl. aluminium front - no plastic casing as with the cheap devices).
- very good picture and music quality (especially in combination with a Pionier AV amplifier - PQSL)
- useful functions : replay, zoom
- Numerous possibilities to adjust the image (e.g. scaling, various image parameters, sharpness of detail)
Contra
- No 4K player yet (the new standard, which is in the starting blocks, is not supported)
- Price (relativised and mitigated by promotional price)
