Previously I had the Panasonic DMC-TZ58, which convinced me very much in terms of functionality but not at all in terms of image quality (visible image noise even at 100 ISO). The focus was often not right either. For this reason I decided to buy the TZ71. Now everything is just right. Very good image quality from wide angle to zoom range, fast and precise autofocus with great functionality. Only the swivel screen has to be dispensed with. If you are not 100% dependent on that, you will be absolutely satisfied with this cam.

You can't expect more from a compact and lightweight travel camera. The large zoom means less light intensity and a little more image noise. But I can capture a motif quickly (without changing lenses etc.). Really a camera for on the road! The control ring on the lens is also successful and simulates an analogue camera.

Nice travel zoom. Well made as anything else coming from Panasonic. Photo quality - you should not expect too much from it.
DxO recently as requested by myself introduced raw support for it, so if you are frequent user of DxO OpticsPro go for it, no need to use proprietary Panasonic software.

Very good camera with many functions. Everything is very clear at a good price/performance ratio. The zoom range is very high and even with a large zoom the pictures are still very sharp.
A very good camera for leisure use, which has many features and is very handy.
