after a year of testing
its a good mid range radio communicator for athletics on the go and doing some serious sports and want to stay connected

- water prof good for outdoor acivates like hiking during rainy or snowy days during winter
- good range up to 10km on ideal condition ( mountain - valley ) i tested it in the swiss mountains
- good for water activities like canyoning or paddle board
- easy to find if lost due to its bright color

- sound volume decreased very low when battery is low or in cold condition
- battery is not powerful enough for multiple days hike
- has problem with sound when in high altitude , the radio suffer from high elevation

Did we get a piece of Monday equipment?
The devices are rarely in use. But every time they are used, the same phenomenon occurs: When the units are tested a few hours before use, they work perfectly. As soon as the devices are on site (boat trips on rivers and lakes) and are put into operation, the devices work. Some time later, the communication through the loudspeakers, even at the loudest level, is only audible, if at all, when the device is held directly to the ear. On the boats, the devices are only in contact with splash water at the most. Other PMR devices (e.g. Motorola T80 series) work perfectly in the same place.

Application area river
Very suitable for activities / work / rescue operations in the river. The radio can be secured to the lifejacket with an additional loop. The PMR holder is very robust and suitable for use. We have 12 devices in use and they have proved their worth for 1-2 years. It is currently the best PMR radio for use in the water (price/performance).
