Miele Triflex HX1
Miele Triflex HX1
The first device delivered was defective - ok can happen - device back for exchange. After that I received a unit that had obviously been used before. Rubber seals and dust bin full of dust residue. Unfortunately this is not the first time this has happened. Everything back and fill out return form - incredible effort because here at Galaxus all times like to close their eyes when it comes to the subject. Maybe the customer just does not notice and if so, we credit him 5.00.
I am thrilled!
I spent a long time researching cordless vacuum cleaners, reading reviews and tests, comparing cheap offers, discontinued models, special offers and other branded products, first and foremost of course Dyson with its 1000 models (I have owned a hand vacuum cleaner from this manufacturer for many years to my great satisfaction).
Decisive was then the current CashBack of Miele, the quite positive feedbacks about the Triflex, its first place in the battery vacuums at Chip magazine and my positive experiences with a Miele floor vacuum cleaner and I ordered at Galaxus.
The shipping was mega fast (Chapeau Galaxus, even in the current crisis), also the post office has delivered quickly and so I could now collect about a week of experience with the Triflex HX1.
1. the assembly is self-explanatory and goes very quickly.
2. the emptying of the dust container I have checked through before the commissioning on the clean device - it works very easily and cleanly, afterwards even with dust!
3. i have mounted the "PowerUnit" - the motor - at the bottom of the brush, because this possibility is in my eyes a big advantage of the Miele compared to e.g. Dyson. The weight is then not on the hand and:
4. through this setup, the device is enormously maneuverable; however, beware if you have furniture that stands on short legs - then it may be that you can no longer get under it - but with me it fits. Another advantage of this assembly method is that the unit can be left anywhere in the room, without leaning against furniture/wall etc. For this reason, I haven't mounted the wall mount yet either - I just leave the Triflex in the closet. I charge the battery on the unit before supplying it, but charging can also be done with the battery removed.
5. the absolute biggest surprise was how quiet the Miele is - as written, I also have a slightly older Dyson hand vacuum: there are worlds between (even if I hear that the newer Dyson are quieter).
6. the suction power isr for my oiled parquet with some woven carpets absolutely sufficient even in the levels 1 and 2 - I was really surprised how much dust the device in the "clean" apartment still picked up. I almost never needed level 3.
7. battery size and dust container are perfectly adequate for my 2 room apartment.
8. recharging works very fast
All in all: I am thrilled! The design may be more modern and unconventional with Dyson than with Miele (that's just very subjective), but the quality, the performance and the current price have thrilled me beyond measure with Miele.
I can only recommend the Triflex!

Great product. We previously had a corded hoover and a V6 Dyson. The V6 for the small jobs and the hoover for the whole house. Now we have the Miele HX1 for both. 150m2 with one battery charge. 2/3 is slabs, 1/3 carpet. Then when the battery charge gets weaker over time, we have the option for an extra battery.
We (especially my wife) are completely satisfied.

Unfortunately, does not work at all in our household. If I had an apartment with carpet (mmmh delicious) I would be thrilled, because the Triflex does what he should and sucks like a world champion. On our parquet and tile floor, which is very often full of "Brösmeli", for example, in the kitchen under the table, where two small children eat, vacuuming with the Triflex does not work at all. The "Brösmeli" are simply pushed back and forth by the rollers or blown away by the side ventilation. If I'm lucky, it sucks in the mess "in forward gear" at some point. In addition, the battery simply does not last long enough in our continuous use. Is, for example, meeega tedious when once again one of my guys somewhere has made a huge mess and I want to get rid of it right away and then the battery just at that moment gives up the ghost.
Unfortunately, despite the many positive reviews from me no purchase recommendation. Definitely not a vacuum cleaner for families with small children.
Have me again (as before) bought the cheap model "Classic C1 Ecoline" from Miele and am still very satisfied, as he more than fulfills its purpose.
