Laifen Se Whi
The technical principle corresponds to a Dyson. It is even slightly smaller and
costs a third of what the Dyson hairdryer costs.

Got it today and the first impression is really good. It's powerful, two speed levels, three heat levels (cold, warm, hot). It's not whisper-quiet, but it's not loud either and the noise is higher-pitched, so it doesn't travel through closed doors.
One thing that was genuienly funny was the packaging.
They splurged on a high quality Apple-style box, all white, thick cardboard, sharp edges, with exactly same "zipper" style green pull tabs, small white user guide pochet that says "Designed in Germany" in small letters in the center, etc.
However the box is so airtight it's really difficult to open. Once opened, there's the hairdryer and a bunch of smaller compartments underneath with accessories and what not. None can be taken out because they are all glued one to another, and none can be properly opened as they all get in each other's way ... I mean it all *looks* like an Apple product packaging, but it does not *work*. As if nobody in the company have ever tried actually unpacking the product.

I bought the hairdryer specifically for curls because of the good reviews. I don't think the drying time is any shorter than with a conventional hairdryer. But it is certainly gentler on the curls. I'm satisfied, but still not the WOW effect par excellence...

I love this hairdryer. I have curly hair and I can now dry it very quickly and without frizz! The product arrived within a few days of ordering! Very pleased!
