    Exceeds expectations

I'm using a Denon X1600H with Jamo home cinema system (with S 606 floorstanding speakers). The AVR has 150W output on each channel. Sound quality in listening to mainly Jazz, blues, and rock music is paramount to me. Using Tidal, I'm very satisfied with the quality and depth this subwoofer brings along.

For movies, it's a blast to watch & hear the blast scenes as this subwoofer DEFINITELY delivers (read: huge thumps on chest, rumble on the floor, tears in your eyes, etc.). Unless you have a dedicated home theater room, or you're looking to piss off your wife for no reason, look no further and buy this subwoofer.

    Ideal for small rooms

I use the subwoofer in my study (only about 15 square metres) next to two small Cambridge Audio Minx XL speakers. Ideal complement to the shelf speakers, which are naturally weak in the bass. A whole new listening experience! The settings (crossover, gain, phase) need a bit of sensitivity, the subwoofer's performance is completely sufficient.

    Absolutely recommended purchase!

Half the size of my old Infinity sub (which went faulty), at least as much power and clean bass, whether quiet or loud. Trailer of Aqua-Man makes the neighbour's dog vibrate :-D

    Pro

    • Small & discreet
    • visually appealing for my taste
    • much power
    • great sound, whether for movies or music

My old subwoofer was destroyed by a bunch of teenagers when we were away, so I thought I might as well not pay too much for a replacement.
But well, it makes a slight sizzling sound when it is turned on, ok it turns off by
itself, so it's ok, the sizzling sound is not too loud.
It also turns on by itself, it needs a certain threshold of sound, and it turns on in a very audible way, a boom as soon as it turns on, that's a bit more annoying.
After the sound... it goes, not top top but I know well that it is a cheap box, I cannot expect any miracle.
There is all the same a gain compared to without box at all, I cannot deny it.
But in the end I regret not having put a little more and taken something of better quality, it does the job but one feels well (and one hears well) that it is cheap.
If it suffers the same fate as its predecessor it will be less serious, when the teenagers will have grown up I think I will replace it.

Price/performance top. Great look and quality, I recommend for sound system expansion.

Can only agree with the previous reviews! In our living room 20sqm this thing performs great and the cabinets shake enough! Stylish and unobtrusive addition, to the furniture da downfire.

    Better than expected.

Excellent and powerful compact sub. Put this in our modest living room setup and it packs a punch. Better than expected.
