Stylish little thing
Everything fits so far.
All the negative comments and reviews on the subject that the battery can not be replaced, I do not understand.
Such devices are calibrated and are eventually no longer so accurate and must be replaced. This is also known from fire/smoke detectors. On the contrary, I find it clever that the battery "expires" and the device must therefore be replaced.
I hope it never strikes, but so far it shows the temperature correctly and the values are easy to read.

I would not buy a second time
The battery is supposed to last 7 years, but is not replaceable. This is even still as a pro-argument on the packaging.
This prevents further use of the device but also a correct disposal. In this day and age untenable.Pro

Does not bother much, seems to work
Due to space constraints, I had to mount the detector directly next to the TV on the wall. The flashing control LED but does not interfere with watching TV. Is rather weak.
While eating fondue (with fuel paste) you could see how the CO indicator climbs up. Seems to work, even if I please never have to try a serious case.Pro

The installation instructions are written in an extremely complicated way about where and how exactly to hang it (distance from objects, door frame, top of the wall, bottom, left and right). In the end, we decided to just put it near our source of danger (near the bedroom). The feet are a bit too small in size and don't make it very stable when standing. When changing from the co to the temperature display, the button has to be pressed. This causes the shrill and deafening alarm to sound for a very short time. This could have been solved differently. All in all, a good device (it only has to serve one purpose), but a bit too expensive for what it really is in the end.

Simple device that does exactly what it is supposed to do: Measure CO and give alarm if necessary
The battery is activated during the first start-up by pulling out a bracket, after which the unit runs for 7 years according to the instructions. It is not possible to change the battery. The unit cannot be switched off either.
For safety reasons, this may be useful.
