I have had very bad experiences with this product.
My configuration was Cisco Linksys Modem AM200 (bridge mode) and Cisco RV042 as firewall with DMZ port enabled.
Sporadically the internet connection was no longer possible,
I had to restart the modem and firewall and this despite the latest firmware.
The modem (configured as a gateway) itself never caused any problems.

Maybe I have a Monday model. after about 2 years of perfect operation, we have constant failures.
the power supply delivers 200mA, but the router needs 520mA!!!
after connecting a laboratory power supply, things were fine
for a while - now it's crashing again - I'll look around for something else.

The little brother of the RV082. Powerful and very stable. Also equipped with a lot of features. I have known and used the RV042 (and the RV082) for many years at several locations. In my opinion, it is of the highest quality and no comparison to the junk that is usually thrown on the market as VPN routers.
