Again such a joke: The printer can be connected only by means of USB cable, which is also communicated in such a way and is ok. But then not to deliver the cable is, in my opinion, a nasty scam by Canon, to additionally cash in. Sure, are only 8 francs, but you feel shot at. Is not the fault of Digitec...
Is there a reasonable reason why a printer, which can only be operated via USB, is not supplied with a USB cable?
Even if it's a very cheap printer and it's admittedly your own fault, a USB cable is the least you can expect. Fortunately, USB ports from HP also work.
Otherwise, overall okay.

The specified number of pages for greyscale and colour printing is practically only achieved in continuous operation because a comparatively large amount of ink is used for print head cleaning after each switch-on.
To reduce printing costs, use XL ink cartridges and give preference to greyscale printing.
The printer sometimes feeds two sheets at the same time, especially if they have not been moved against each other beforehand.
If the printer reports a full ink tank, maintenance by the manufacturer is necessary. The remaining ink tank can be cleaned by yourself with a little skill, but its fill level cannot be reset.
As it is not possible to scan or print when the remaining ink tank is full, only continue to use the scanner if the remaining ink tank is almost full.

Bought just to print a poster. Printed out - no more ink. Put in the cellar.
PDF manual without bookmarks.
User guide - just the drawings, although in places some clarification would be useful.
