I am very satisfied! What is not in the description is Scan to SMB/CIFS. This means that scanning to an SMB share is possible (instead of just FTP). Tested with MacOS 10.4, Ubuntu 16.04, Win7.
Printing without driver installation under Linux via PCL6 did not work for me > Probably only for advanced users. But there is a UFRII driver package for Linux.
Touchscreen sometimes reacts a bit sluggishly.
Ok I am updating this review now that I have had it for a few days. I got this printer for 270chf in the sale which was a good price but let me please first say that this printer is very difficult to set up and it is NOT for non-technical users. It is designed for deployment on a network by an IT administrator. The software driver is super basic and most of the configuration needs to be done via a confusing web interface. There is NO fancy software package to help you out and guide you through the printing or scanning processes like with Brother or HP. That is very frustrating and disappointing if that is what you are expecting from a home office printer.
Anyway, I am a pretty technical guy and I still spent some long hours getting this printer configured to how I wanted it. I am not alone in finding it difficult... I had to do a lot of Googling to set some of the functions up and the internet is full of online posts from people who also struggled to get Scan2email (Gmail was a pain with the settings) or Scan2file setup to my NAS device (FTP is easiest).
However, now that I have it set up I am satisfied with the functionality and print quality... photos look surprisingly good as long as they are mostly light coloured and not dark. There is an extensive range of print options but you have to spend time researching them to figure them out to get the best quality because the terminology is Canon-specific.
Scanning is ok but I can't figure out how to get the 9600x9600 scan quality options so am still fiuring that out. The ADF is duplex which is very cool, especially for this price range.
The printer is not small but not huge... it still takes up space though so make sure you have room. In the end I now have it set up just like my office printer and can now scan to Gmail and scan to my NAS and print from any laptop with ease. However, getting there was not easy. :)

Perfect quality vs good price
+ Price performance
+ Print quality
+ Print via mobile phone
+ Colour calibration: Print test page and scan, done
The device was delivered with an Ethernet cable. It didn't work! It was faulty, and cost me a lot of time. Replacing it with one I already had fixed the problem immediately.
