ASUS VG279Q

The one I originally ordered had a few dead pixels. After sending it in to have it repaired and/or replaced, I got one with even more dead pixels that the original... And what looks like a hair, in the screen.

Very good monitor for gaming with consoles. But it is also a good option for general PC usage and watching movies.
Image and color accuracy were very good out of the box.
I have no glow/bleed/other similar panel issue with my unit. However, there are dead pixels, not covered under Asus warranty.

For this price, a super screen.
Stand/case is all very sturdy/stable and high quality.
Need it for gaming -> no delay, optimal gaming experience.
I like it a lot. Easy to use, many connections and options, optimal all around.

Price and quality, the perfect monitor for PS4 gaming. Unfortunately Digitec forgot to send the power cable with CH plug. And no news from the service department.
The Asus is simply top, great colours and a nice brightness to put it that way. My son is very satisfied when gaming, even with the 27" size.
Service, i.e. shipping ....., was super fast.

Video quality is superb! Way too bright for indoor use, and the default settings are less than satisfying. Luckily the OSD is quite intuitive and I quickly found a perfect tuning for my use. Your mileage may vary, but in my case I got zero defective pixels and zero light bleeding from the edge. Bezel is super narrow, which is great but almost a problem if you want to hang a webcam on top of the monitor. Broad choice of inputs (I would have gladly swapped an extra DP port for the DVI one) and superb ergonomics, lots of ways to tune the monitor stand, which is something I never realized before how useful it is. Also, the base of the stand is smaller than others, which helps saving space on the desk.
The only negative point, if I really have to find one, is that the quality of the integrated speakers is, well... bad. Really bad. And I'm no audiophile. Luckily the integrated DAC is decent, so you can have good sound by connecting external speakers directly through the 3,5mm jack audio exit.
There is another version of this monitor with higher resolution (2400 pt VS 1920 pt of this one) but, frankly, don't bother... I got on purpose the lower resolution version to have less strain on my GPU in native resolution and I have zero regrets for it.
