Just before Christmas, there is a special gift for all "Dota 2" fans. The next Playground Session will be dedicated to the iconic MOBA title. The game always came out on top in our public votes for the Digitec Playground Cups, but never achieved first place. In the last vote, "Dota 2" narrowly lost out to the tactical shooter "Rainbow Six Siege". So it's high time that the "Dota 2" community got its own tournament after so many narrow defeats.
The playoffs will take place on Saturday, 7 December. The final will be held on Saturday 14 December. Registrations for the tournament are now open.

The first-placed team will receive Digitec vouchers worth a total of CHF 500.

The second place will receive Digitec vouchers worth a total of CHF 250.

Conditions of participation, rules and questions
Who can take part
The majority of your team must be resident in Switzerland or Liechtenstein or have a Swiss passport / Swiss ID. We also adhere to the age restrictions of the game (PEGI 12). Digitec Galaxus employees may take part, but are excluded from the prizes.
How many places are available
The tournament is limited to a maximum of 32 teams. The tournament will only take place if at least four teams take part. If fewer than eight teams take part, the tournament will be held on one day (7 December) instead of two days.
When and where will the Playground Session take place?
The playoffs will take place on 7 December and the final on 14 December. If fewer than eight teams take part, all matches will be played on 7 December. Both the playoffs and the final will take place online - so you can take part from home.
When can I register up to?
Registration is open from now until 7 December at 11:30 a.m.
What system will be used for play?Tournament format is "Double Elimination". The match format (in 5v5 mode) is "Best of One", with the exception of the finals, which are played in "Best of Three".
