Rain? TVs recommended by Netflix and other news

Find out which TVs Netflix recommends and what fast.com really brings you. Works best in the rain if you don't want to go out anyway. Or even in better weather when you need to protect yourself from the sun ;).
About a year ago, Netflix launched a rating programme in the USA. Based on this programme, Netflix is now also recommending easy-to-use smart TVs with good performance and intuitive menu navigation for Europe this year. These TVs are labelled with the "Netflix Recommended TV" logo and offer the best performance for relaxed Netflix enjoyment.
For Netflix, these functions are crucial: [You can find all the criteria here]
- Instant On: Internet services and smart menu functions are available immediately after switching on
- TV Resume: If you last used the Netflix app on your TV, it will come on immediately when you switch it on again
- Latest Netflix version: Pre-installed, latest Netflix version
- Easy access: e.g. via Netflix button on the remote control

"Netflix recommended TVs" from Sony

"Netflix recommended TVs" from Samsung

More Netflix innovations
fast.com
Netflix now offers you an ad-free service to find out how fast your internet connection is. Whether you're on a mobile network or watching via broadband. Netflix even links to speedtest.net so you can do another comparison test. The special thing about fast.com is that there are no adverts and the design is very clear. The evaluation is therefore limited to the download speed, which does not take pings, latency & jitter into account. Sure, no gimmicks, it's from Netflix after all. Not to be confused with the Netflix ISP speed index. The latter only indicates the monthly average performance of Netflix streams at peak times.
Update of the Netflix mobile app
Does that annoy you too - you're watching a series via the Netflix app and then your internet volume is used up? Now you can finally set how much data volume Netflix is allowed to use when streaming series and films on your mobile or tablet. You can set this after updating the app under "Mobile data consumption".
Offline mode for Netflix
Neil Hunt, Chief Officer of Netflix, no longer categorically rules out an offline mode. Special Netflix servers in public transport are currently being discussed that enable streaming via WiFi and therefore do not burden mobile phone data.
Different inch sizes are linked to the product in our online shop. Netflix has of course tested the new 2016 lineups. It is therefore possible that not all recommended TVs are available immediately.Pssst... I may be late but for boring rainy days:
