The "Yoga 9 2-in-1 Aura Edition" is a laptop that can be folded 360 degrees - a so-called convertible. The "Yoga 9 Slim" stands out with its camera embedded directly into the display.
The two co-pilot laptops "Yoga 9 2-in-1 Aura Edition" and "Yoga 9 Slim" from Lenovo are now available with a new processor: the Intel Core Ultra 7 258V with integrated graphics unit. This processor is optimised for AI tasks and offers up to 47 TOPS.
The two devices also have some of the same features: both have an M.2 SSD hard drive with 1000 gigabytes of storage capacity and 32 gigabytes of RAM.
If you can't decide between a laptop and a tablet, you might be interested in the "Yoga 9 2-in-1". You can use this device like a notebook. If required, you can fold the 14-inch OLED display down completely and turn the laptop into a tablet. Thanks to the included Yoga Pen, you can also use the touch display as a graphics tablet. The "Aura Edition" pen has tilt and pressure detection. It can be magnetically attached to the back of the display.

The Lenovo Smart Note internal graphics app is suitable for AI-supported creative projects, according to Lenovo. For example, the computer should be able to generate a detailed image from your rough sketch. The display with a brightness of up to 1100 nits ensures that you can see this even in bright sunlight.
With the 75 Wh battery, you can watch 29 hours of video without having to charge the device, according to Lenovo. With 65-watt fast charging, you get up to three hours of runtime after 15 minutes on the power cable.
In addition to Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4, there is a USB 3.2 Type-A port, a USB-C port and two USB-C Thunderbolt ports with Power Delivery and DisplayPort. There is also an audio connection.
The "Yoga Slim 9" is a slim, lightweight laptop with a classic form factor: the 14-inch display with touch function can be opened, but not folded down. When closed, the laptop is around 1.5 centimetres thick. It weighs 1.2 kilograms.
Lenovo has also opted for a slim display frame. This is particularly noticeable at the top edge, where the camera is usually embedded in other laptops. There is no room for this on the "Yoga Slim 9". The Full HD camera is therefore located below the frame, directly in the display. According to Lenovo, the laptop is the first with such a camera. If it is not needed, it should not be visible.
The OLED screen offers a 4K resolution and a brightness of 600 to 750 nits. This is bright enough to be able to see the content clearly even in the sun. The device does not offer pen support.
Like the "Yoga 9 2-in-1 Aura Edition", the device connects via Wi-Fi 7 and Bluetooth 5.4. You have two USB-C ports with Thunderbolt, Power Delivery and DisplayPort as well as an audio jack at your disposal.
