The "Fenix 8" smartwatches feature an AMOLED display for the first time. This is protected by a stainless steel bezel. All models also have waterproof metal buttons and a new side-mounted sensor protection. According to the manufacturer, they have been tested for heat, shock and water resistance in accordance with US military standards.

An integrated, bright LED torch is designed to help you reach your destination even in the dark. You can also connect the "Fenix 8" to your smartphone and make or receive calls thanks to the integrated microphone and speaker. Even without a phone connection, voice commands activate important and frequently used functions.

Other functions

The "Fenix 8" offers a variety of GPS modes, including multi-band GPS for even more precise positioning. Thanks to several sensors on the smartwatch, you can comprehensively record and analyse your activities. The sensors include: Heart rate monitor on the wrist, accelerometer, barometer, compass and thermometer. According to the manufacturer, the "Fenix 8" also comes with a large selection of preconfigured sports profiles - from sport-specific training plans to diving functions.

In addition to the sports functions, the "Fenix 8" also offers all the important smartwatch functions such as notifications, music playback and payments. The 51mm version has a battery life of up to 29 days in smartwatch mode.
