Power over Ethernet
The Reolink RLA-PS1 provides a reliable PoE solution with 8 PoE+ ports (10/100Mbps) and 2 Gigabit Ethernet uplink ports (10/100/1000Mbps). Compliant with the IEEE802.3af/at standard, it can deliver up to 30 W for each PoE port and has a total power budget of 120 W for a maximum of 8 PoE devices.
Power management
This PoE switch features a power management mechanism. If the assigned total power exceeds the power budget (120 W), the PoE ports will be turned off sequentially, starting from port 8, until the total power is below the threshold that the PoE switch can supply.
Automatic detection of adaptive devices
The Reolink RLA-PS1 automatically detects whether the device connected to its ports is a PoE device and whether it needs to be powered. To avoid damage, it does not supply power to non-PoE devices.
4KV surge protection
By employing professional lightning protection, this PoE switch effectively prevents energy from lightning strikes from damaging connected devices, ensuring their long-term operation.
Plug & Play
The Reolink RLA-PS1 works perfectly with your PoE cameras, transmitting both data and power with just one Ethernet cable. It is also easy to set up for beginners. It can be connected directly to your NVR to enhance reliability and security, or it can be connected to the same LAN as your NVR to support more features of your cameras.
