The fact that the wifi doesn't work, is not a fault of Zotac, but Intel's & FreeBSD a bit too. It works very nicely with Linux, with iwlwifwi firmware.
Lack of VT-d is very small issue, due to no PCI slots. One of the potential uses would be to provide each Ethernet port and wifi?I am not blaming Zotac, I knew what I was getting and I still bought it - but it should be highlighted in a review because others might not be aware. And yes, VT-d would be nice since you could run Linux, virtualize pfSense via KVM and directly ecxlusively assign the 'evil' (outside) port to the VM.
