Now available: Monitors from the "HP Series 5" range with 24 or 27 inches
In January, HP introduced a new monitor series, the "Series 5". You can now order various monitors from this series from us.
If you're looking for a new monitor that doesn't have to fulfil any specific requirements, you might find what you're looking for in the "HP Series 5" displays. This series replaces the previous "M series" and has a few advantages over the older versions. Instead of 75 hertz, the new models have a refresh rate of 100 hertz. The contrast ratio has also been improved from 1000:1 to 1500:1.
27-inch monitors from the "HP Series 5":
The displays with IPS technology are available in 24 and 27 inch. All offer a Full HD resolution and a brightness of 300 nits. The response time is 5 milliseconds grey-to-grey (GTG). To protect the eyes, the displays limit blue light without losing colour fastness, the manufacturer promises. The monitors have the Eyesafe certification, which certifies this feature for eye health.
24-inch monitors from the "HP Series 5":
An additional monitor with a 32-inch screen diagonal will be available in May, an exact date is not yet known.
Height-adjustable or equipped with speakers
The product designations are made up of three numbers and two letters. They help you to recognise more quickly which functions the monitors offer. The first number, a 5, stands for the "Series 5" monitor range. This is followed by the numbers 24 or 27, which indicate the screen diagonal. If there is also an h in the monitor designation, the device is height-adjustable. An a indicates built-in speakers.
Height-adjustable monitors can be adjusted up to ten centimetres in height. Audio displays have two integrated 2-watt speakers on the back.
All displays are tiltable and have a removable stand
All displays can be tilted from -5 to +25 degrees to suit your needs. The monitors do not have a Vesa mount. According to the manufacturer HP, the devices are made from 85 per cent recycled material. The stand is removable. The 24-inch monitors offer an HDMI and a VGA connection. An HDMI cable is included. If you opt for a 27-inch monitor, you can also use a second HDMI connection.
